In the Gospel according to St. Matthew (4:12-23) Peter, James and John, Andrew, all go to follow him. How quick are we to move away from what we know, what is routine, when God calls us? Sometimes when we are so immersed in our own life we fail to see the life that God wants for us. Jesus calls us to follow him. Are we willing to drop all that we have and all that we know, that moment when he comes into our lives? When Jesus called out to his disciples to follow him and he would make them, "fishers of men," they did so immediately.
